Birthday weekend
I just got the last phone call of the day which was from a flatmate who apologised about a million times for forgetting that it was my birthday but she’s great to be around so there’s no harm done! (Though she doesn’t believe me.)
My family now thinks I’m an alcoholic who goes out every single day of the week, since my aunt + uncle blow everything out of proportion! But apparently my cousins are going to take me out when I get back home the weekend after and give me a “proper birthday celebration” which sounds pretty good to me! And my friends from uni and secondary school said the same thing, scheduling it for the Easter holiday since they didn’t join the rest of us in Liverpool yesterday/today.
Liverpool was great, as predicted! I hadn’t seen some of my friends since September so it was good seeing them all again and it was all pretty chilled which was a nice break. We ate in Pizza Hut just to carry on tradition, Sam and I pigged out as per and a friend gave a waiter her number because she is forever longing for a Scouse husband. We went out later that night to a club which played just pure cheese from the 90’s and it was surprising enjoyable! It was actually so much fun, though I failed trying to do the macarena.
Bring on Wednesday for part 2 of the birthday celebrations!
Although, before that I need to share out a whole cake a friend baked because I shouldn’t finish it all by myself, bitches are gonna love me tomorrow.
